About Me...

My name is Taylor A. W. Duffy, CPDT-KA. I am a certified professional dog trainer and instructor in Chicago IL, and I specialize in behavior modification.
I believe that any good teacher should also be a good learner; especially when dealing with behavior! As a trainer I am in awe of all the different ways to train and learn, and in my determination to learn I generally take notes the whole way through.
I hope to share the process of learning for both pet professionals and pet enthusiasts so that we can create an environment to learn and grow together. Dog training is a field that does not require college education or economic standing; however, some content is made with higher education in mind and can be harder to get through for those who may not learn in the traditional methods best. Making drawings and illustrations to handle these materials has helped me to understand and visualize better through the years, so I hope it can do the same for other trainers, students, and anyone who's curious to learn more!
